THE EXHIBITION

A UK perspective on process engineering.

CHEMUK 2026 was scheduled for 20–21 May in Hall 5 at the NEC in Birmingham. The exhibition covers the chemical supply chain, including raw materials, specialist chemicals, engineering solutions and process technologies. It connects manufacturers and suppliers with the teams responsible for operating, maintaining and developing chemical production facilities.

Laboratory technology, analytics and automation sit alongside discussions about safety, efficiency and sustainability. This wider context is relevant to valve selection because chemical service depends on much more than nominal size. A clear understanding of the process, material compatibility and maintenance requirements helps turn exhibition conversations into a useful technical brief.

In focus

  • Chemical processing
  • Plant engineering
  • Process automation
AN APPLICATION PERSPECTIVE

What this means for your next project.

Share the chemical composition, concentration and operating envelope when discussing a valve. Include cleaning conditions and sealing requirements so that material and actuation choices can be assessed together.
